PETER BROWN’S BIOGRAPHY: Peter Brown was born, in Kingston, Jamaica W.I and Grew-up on first St. Trench Town. Peter Brown a/k/a Adolphus Brown: Singer/songwriter, Hung out with Steve and Ziggy Marley, the sons of the late king, Bob Marley, He inquired into the music business, wrote and performed and made inroads in the industry as a vocal star and protégé of the Bob’s lyrical styling and the late Dennis Brown. He was an annual fixture at the Trench Town Christmas concert in Lawerence Park. Each time he performed, it was to rave reviews and applaud from the locals. And visitors alike.
He often wrote and sang originals, along with certain cover-tunes from local Artists, accompanied by the rhythm of the great knowledge - band, which includes great bass players such as Bassie and Twinny. local legends. The twin brothers also played drums and keyboards and guitar. Peter Brown is currently signed to a new management Company, Wildfire Records Inc. Prior to signing with his new Management, he completed an album entitled; Jesus Footstep in year 2000 and completed the re-mix title One More Touch in 20007, lifting his standard to another level.
He was chosen by music judges to perform at the annual tastee talent concert and excelled and passed auditions at both Jammy’s and Tubby’s Studios in 1989 and was on his way to making his first recordings when he got the call to the U.S.A. for summer camp in New York City. Adolphus Brown a/k/a Peter Brown Singer /songwriter, Migrated to the United States in 1990.
In the year 1992 he performed at 38TH & Chestnut, where all the foreign and local artists debut in the City of Philadelphia. He sang the happy birthday song for reggae Artist, Beresford Hammond which stirred up the full- capacity crowd, who applauded from every section of the entertainment Hall.
Mr. Brown also made his mark and claimed his position as lead singer for the band Nu-Nu-Balsam and won an audition with House of Assembly, A popular reggae band domiciled in Philadelphia and would’ve landed a contract with the Famed Recording Company gamble and huff, but unforeseeable circumstances would temporarily thwart his dream.
Peter Brown had taken a transient hiatus and disappeared from the entertainment scene only to re-emerge in 1995.After receiving a call to ministry and re-dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus; who revealed himself to him in a vision, being instructed what to do, he found a church in Philadelphia Known as Victory. Since then he has served the lord, performed on the praise & worship team and studied the scriptures in preparation for ministry, for the passed several years.
Since that time his desire for music has been re-kindled as he featured as lead singer on the album titled “ONE MORE TOUCH†Peter, has had the auspicious opportunity to minister in a number of churches in Philadelphia and enjoys singing Gospel, Reggae-roots & many other Genre of music. The current album One More Touch is now in stores and has a proliferation of inspirational lyrical arrangements, with a total of 19 tracks.
Peter Brown, displays a unique talent and unparallel delivery and seeks to enlighten and re-fresh the hearts, ears and minds of all Gods children. Solo- Album coming soon! Titled “Best of Mr. Brownâ€. Recently at the Philly Unity Splash on Wall Street at the Wall Street International he shocked the crowd with a thrilling performance, which had the fans begging for more.
He definitely made his Record Company (Wild Fire Records) proud and has already obtained invites for future appearances.
