I have managerial and creative experience in A&R and marketing from Epic Urban Records/Sony Music. As A&R manager, I oversaw all A&R administration for Epic Urban as well as some Epic artist which included album budgets, backend payments, sample and side artist clearances for soundtracks and compilation albums along with such artists as B2K, 3LW, Jill Scott, Mandy Moore, Ghostface Killa, and Glen Lewis. Adding co-executive album producer to her credit for “A Season of Soul and Sounds of Christmas” album and A&R Director for the Ghostface Killah “Bulletproof Wallets” album. I organized and executed special projects for Epic Records that included the negotiation of production contracts and the processing of development and demo deals. Being the direct contact for all departments in the Epic Urban Group for business affairs and A&R administration has given me the ability to understand an artists business needs while staying true to their aesthetic sense to be creative. I received my B.S. from Hofstra University in Jazz/Commercial Music, Vocal Performance. I do artist development, artist management, music production and A&R administration. Some of my services include vocal production, which includes teaching harmony & pitch, interview preparation, image consulting and developing marketing strategies for artists’ projects, producer budget/all-in budgets.
