I'm PhillyBluntZ aka BluntZ, Im from leeds (LS nowhere coz i have lived in many bits tho mostly ls8 and 7 init). I was always fascinated with music from an early age learning to play the piano from age 3. was big on the piano come 11 (no grades just self taught) and was in a little band with no name wen i was 15. after GCSE's and only comin out with 2 of the 8 i was supposed to get i stuck with the piano but started writing songs after my gran died not long before 2000 (R.I.P).a few ballards later i regained my love for hip hop and started to write hip hop tracks. To put it mildly they were shit as i was talking the talk and not walking the walk so i did what all musicians do when something isnt working or goes stale, i reinvented myself into something that was more matching of my persona.i actually was forced to spit in public by my boy big neezy along with asher don and gatlin in pusher records open mic set in the middle of town and man were feelin my cheeky rhymes and a young girl at the time Lady Tipsy encouraged me to keep on going with it, so i did.about a year later 2005 i decided to move to glasgow. I was on a quest of bringin grime to Scotland only to find its already here! the scene has got bigger since we formed the syndicate and paved the way for mans and its only gonna get bigger!I could waffle on but BUN DAT!
