Influences: bad relationships, good relationships, the horrible awful truth, the news, telly, the other members in the band, money, jobs, crushes, obsessions, compulsions, books, other bands......
Sounds Like: fronted by Penny and Shona, two outrageous, limelight-blagging girls and backed by a series of drummers (16 over 10 years) the Space Kittens produce a demented on-stage spectacle.
Everett True reckons them to be a 'full-pelt, dressed-up, female cross between something all heavy and hoary like Gwar, and something all heavy and hard like Frightwig'.
One suspects that the Glasgow based trio, like so many earthbound felines have undergone unspeakable tortures in the nursery at the hands of earth children, but for the moment at least the tables are turned....jeepers, eh?
