About Me

I was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. Coming up in the 60's, my experiences seemed hard. But now they are considered the good ole' days. The death of Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the worst event to come out of my time. That is why, forty-eight years of experience, has made me reluctant to believe 80 percent of American History. The people telling the stories, had too much to consider back then, to tell the whole truth about a lot of things. Even in times way before then, there was Sambo. He was a traitor to his race. He tried to pushed his guilt conscience off on Uncle Tom. Tom the most loyal man alive, to God, to his people, and if it didn't conflict with the first two, he was loyal to his master. To know what I am talking about, and really uderstand, you would have to read "Uncle Tom's Cabin"(I mean, really read it) You would then grasp Harriett Beecher Stowe's true message, and learn how society has taken something as pure and simple as this and made it out to mean the total opposite. So in today's time, when society sees black man who is trying to do the right thing, he is scourned and called an " Uncle Tom" Do you really know what "Uncle Tom stood for. Well for a slight awakening I am inclined to tell you. You see, Uncle Tom would pick cotton for the sick and elderly slaves, to keep them from getting beaten by the master. Still, all of them had a certain amount of bags they had to fill. He cared about them so much, that he would pick theirs first. He made sure that their bags had clean clear cotton in them , because if they didn't then the person responsible for those bags, would be beaten then also. Uncle Tom was beaten and starved by his master because he refused to denounce God. Also because, he wouldn't tell master the location of two runaway slaves. So I feel, if we were half as loyal, loving and strong as Uncle Tom was, the world would be exactly what God intented it to be. And there would be no reason for God to come and heal the land.I was born the youngest of ten. And of my nine sibblings, seven are still alive. Believe me I try my best to stay well connect to them all. After all, I was nortured by all of them in some point in time. All of the traveling I did in the Marine Corps, taught me diversity, as well as patience, with people who don't think, look, act or talk the way I do. We may not look the same or speak the same language, but our expressions of love, are the same. And we all need the same things to survive.
