I'm Vanessa, now the big 50, and loving every minute. I am so happily married and blessed with four kids, and four grandkids (so far....on the grandkids I mean). Between all the loves in my life, I help Mike with his business and help take care of some family members. I don't know where the time has gone....I just know that I have always been a very fortunate human being...It's in the last years I have fully come to realize what that really meant. I want to try to explain it, but it's a very deep and profound feeling, and very difficult to put into words...I will say I am feeling a calm in my life and it does feel wonderful...I will note that I don't want anyone to misconstrue that I acknowledge religion and or any God for these revelations, Oh Contraire !! It is the eyes wide open reality that, that is all a lot of BS I don't ascribe to, HOWEVER, I do not hold anyone's belief system against them, just don't hold my different opinions against me.I admit I have been described as an aggressive, opinionated, violent, war mongering, responsible, loving, crazy, too serious, funny, humble, angry, polite, sassy, nasty, rude, bitch, lady, woman, girl, dyke, LOUD, bossy, unmoving, caring, rights fighter, cynical, positive, negative person..hahaha, all I can say is, I AM WHAT I AM..I will always fight for what I think is Right, am in NO WAY obligated to think like anyone and/or everyone else. What I am is me....Vanessa, and I like it.

My Interests

MY INTERESTS ARE SIMPLE...FAMILY...... TIME GOES BY SO FAST...LOOK AT TWO EVENTS WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS...OUR GIRLS BOTH MARRIED, AND GRAND CHILDREN, NEW FAMILY ADDITIONS, AND WONDERFUL FRIENDS..SO DAMN LUCKYFamily, especially the children. My Man. New York Yankees. Politics and Philosophy, good debate. Music, Reading, Writing (all on my terms, not cause I have to I loathe textbooks and report writing most) I love Puzzles (especially crosswords), Life in general is of great interest to me (ONE BIG PUZZLE, Don't ya think?) though I doubt I will have full understanding of what it all means until after my death. A DO OVER for sure!

Books:

Prince of Tides, The Color of Water, The Great Santini, The Green Mile and Bag of Bones, and so many other Stephen King I couldn't write them all down...those two are my favorites.

Heroes:

My Family, both those still here, those who are gone, and those yet to be. My Mother, not because she was a Saint, but for what she risked teaching me and many others a true path to happiness and what really matters most in the lives we live...I could list many other people who have affected my life in many ways which made them my heroes !
