About Me

Hey everyone again,
it's become sort of a tradition for me to give all of my "friends & co." a Christmas gift in form of a Christmas song. For some strange reasons, this is the first time I'm doing it right here at MySpace.
This particular song, however, was not originally composed as a holiday song, it's history is special, and hopefully its history will continue being written in the future...
Its lyrics were co-written with Chris Squire of Yes in the weirdest "collaboration" ever - he wrote the words as a post on YesFans.com back in July concerning the current situation of Yes and some members found them very poetic, and I wrote a very spontaneous tune for them and recorded a demo. A few months later, I re-wrote, re-arranged and re-produced the song from the scratch, adding new lyrics, too.
Strangely enough, while playing it to some of my friends, they found it really christmassy (yo there, Lucka? :)), and I realized it's true, it really has lots of the holiday atmosphere, the lyrics are fitting, too.
So here you are, you can now listen to this song, totally unintended to be a Christmas tune, and yet it is...:)
It comes in three versions. The "basic" version, a dreamy edit subtitled "Everlasting Silence" and the original demo from July which has this special kind of magic of spontaneity and intimacy not really present in the later versions. All of the tracks come with their respective instrumental versions, too.
It must be noted that the song is still in the "demo" stage, at least until someone comes and does some decent vocals, since it's all me on there, and I'm not a singer by any chance. Sorry for that...:)
So enjoy my gift coming right from my heart, have a beautiful and peaceful Christmas, enjoy "the now", enjoy your lives with everything that comes by, and don't despair no matter what. The Light inside our hearts is always more powerful.
The music was composed, arranged, produced and completely performed by me, Vlado "Nitrus" Bizik.
OLDER, BUT STILL NEWS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE FOLLOW: :)
My debut album, called Wonderland Within, has finally been released.
A post-new age, chillout, yet very lively instrumental journey to realms so distant and yet so close. A progressive concept album for anyone who fancies organic electronic soundscapes, world and ethnic elements, smart melodies and keyboard extravaganzas.
All music composed, arranged, performed and produced by Vlado "Nitrus" Bizik.
The artist was born in 1989 in Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia (in Central Europe) where he also lives. He studies law (of all things...:)).
The album is available from CDBaby: http://cdbaby.com/cd/nitrus - which is the preferred place to purchase it... You can also get it from the trusty titans such as iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Rhapsody, etc... Just type in "Nitrus" and/or "Wonderland Within" and check it out...:)
Thanks for your support, it's much appreciated.
And remember, THE BEST IS YET TO COME... :)
