Statement on Marilyn Chamber’s (Taylor’s) DeathBy Peggy McGinnMarilyn Taylor (Chambers), beloved film star, sister, mother, friend born April 22nd, 1952 passed from this life on April 11th, 2009. Born in Providence Rhode Island and raised in Connecticut, she moved to California in the early 1970s. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her 17 year old daughter McKenna Marie Taylor, Her brother Bill Briggs of Massachusetts, and sister Jann Smith of Washington.Marilyn’s most recent entertainment projects included a lead voice over role in “Porndogs”, and lead role in the indie film “Solitaire”. She had also just been signed to play a lead role in the stage production “The Deep Throat Sex Scandal” slated to open on Broadway in late spring.A private service for family and friends will be held later this week. We ask the press and Marilyn’s fans to respect her family and close friend’s need to grieve in solitude. A public beach memorial service will be held on what would have been her 57th birthday, Wednesday April 22nd,2009.
