After graduating from St Martin's College of Art & Design in London with a BA Honors in fashion design in 2000, I then went on to teach fashion design and life drawing at Darlington College, County Durham.A love of fabrics, fluid lines and form is ever present in my richly textured figurative work but the beauty of the human form is my primary love; the colour of flesh, the tension of muscle and the movement portrayed by layered brushstrokes.My figurative work is provocative but with a very playful twist; the burlesque performers that I've painted have been loads of fun to capture and I am also now working on edgier material as well as my own take on the more classic portrait.Thanks for taking the time to look at my work - please leave me a comment if you like something - hey I'm an artist I need all the adulation I can get! ;-)
