I'm a pretty outgoing, relaxed fella who loves to party as well as chill and read/watch movies/drink mojitos/make music (that's a new one).Yeah, I'd consider myself a jock...if I had more time to practise my favorite sports, but when I'm at it I absolutely dig basketball. I'm down with nearly any sport, be it soccer, tennis, volleyball, squash, bull riding, reading out loud in the subway, etc...
Well, people with with people skills...mostly. I do love an intelligent discourse, be it about some banality or a deeper, more sophisticated topic, yet I have a pretty low tolerance level for self proclaimed "intellectuals" - the real ones don't need to brag.
Oh, and I absolutely, positively DO NOT like myspace headlines that read like this: "Live life to the fullest" or "Live your dream, don..t dream your life" and finally "Carpe diem".
Soooo, if you have one of the above idioms in your headline, don't go in anger, just go!Some people call me "flirtatious", and I probably can't deny it, but I'm still fascinated by the idiosyncracies of the female species.
And while we're at it, I'm relly attracted to women with a good sense of (dry) humor.
Be warned, I'm no Disney character. So, if you consider yourself an "Arielle", I'm more of a "Fritz the Cat".
I'd like to meet some like minded people who share my interests or add some new ones to my catalogue.
And if ya don't like it, Eddie's gonna tell ya what I think...
Word!
From David Bowie to Biz Markie, from Prodigy to Johnny Cash my tastes are pretty wide spread. But my absolutely, positively favorite tune of all time is: SHAFT by Isaac Hayes...can you dig it?
Check out my favorites athttp://www.shompy.com/luke-cage/l7936_ukuk.html
I'm one of the disciples of Larry David's CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM as well as Ricky Gervais' THE OFFICE and the canine, the legend TRIUMPH THE INSULT COMIC DOG. Accept no substitute. Oh yeah, the SIMPSONS are my favorite yellow family.
Huge fan of MACBETH and therefore huge fan of Bill Shakespeare. I dig Duerrenmatt's DIE PHYSIKER or BESUCH DER ALTEN DAME as well as Salinger's CATCHER IN THE RYE - Patrick Suesskind's DAS PARFUM is close behind. Lately, I read a lot of biographies. On the other hand, I do enjoy escapism same as the next guy/gal, so here they come: Tim Willocks GREEN RIVER RISING, Richard Bachman/Stephen King THE LONG WALK, Alfred Bester THE STARS MY DESTINATION, Richard Stark POINT BLANK, Alan Moore's WATCHMEN, Frank Miller's THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS
Guess my heroes are more old school, so here they come (in no specific order):Muhammad Ali, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, Homer J. Simpson, Mark Twain, Bud Spencer, Bruce Lee, Steve McQueen, Klaus Kinski, Robert DeNiro, Lee Marvin, Denis Leary, Michael Jordan, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Howard Hawks, Billy Wilder, Robert Aldrich, Don Siegel, John Huston, Dean Martin, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Luke Cage, Han Solo.Word!
