I've been in L.A. for about eight years. Six different apartments, two in West Hollywood, one in Los Feliz, two in nebulously situated neighborhoods near freeways, one (currently) in Silverlake. Seven roommates (with nothing bad to say about six of them). Now living by myself. I prefer to call my decor "minimal," but I've been told "serial killer" is an apt description as well. So that's probably this next year's project (help me, Drew). Seven jobs. Four in the Valley. I've lived my whole life in California, with brief-ish excepted hiati (hiatuses?) in NYC and England. I work too much but my professional life seems to be going well. I hate having my picture taken. I entertain fantasies of dropping off the grid and hiding in the desert. One of my best friends says I'm self-absorbed, and this paragraph would lead me to agree with him.
