____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ______________________________ myspace layouts - - ____________________________________________________________ _______________ What connects Chinese ghost movies, Danish popstars, ketamine-fuelled rappers, Scotland’s finest lady superstar, The Eyes of Laura Mars, Debbie Harry, 21st Century Boys, Disco Mafias, future scouse teen sensations and the finest quiff in North London?Easy – it’s songwriter, producer and remixer extraordinaire Eazy. ____________________________________________________________ _______________ Eazy crashed landed into London a few years back, setting his targets on a life of songwrting, production and creating nuggets of perfect fuckedup pop. Hurtling down from Glasgow, where he cut his nightlife teeth on running various degenerate clubs and bars, he spent his first couple of years down south barely seeing daylight. He fed on Prince and his Paisley Parklife, with side orders of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem and Mark Bolan. He soothed his nerves with a little Joni Mitchell and Goldfrapp. Taking clubbing to a whole new level, he ran with the wolves, took every kind of magic substance he could get his hands on and got up to unspeakable deeds and endless amounts of Tomfoolery. Finally he woke-up in a bass bin next to two gurning urchins, who he re-named Fierce Girl. ____________________________________________________________ _______________From the inset of setting up his own studios, Eazy produced his first fruits of labour on the two Fierce Girl tracks "Double Drop" and "What Makes A Girl Fierce", with "Double Drop", produced and co-written by Eazy which was named Single Of the Week in the NME and " What Make A Girl Fierce " was Single Of the Week in The Guardian Guide. Both tracks hit the Indie Top 20 and the Music Week Club Top 10 and Commercial Pop Chart Top 10.His next project, The Age Of Steam, created with Italy’s finest, DJ Severino and featuring the sublime Miss Mel also scored a massive underground dance hit with their track “Disco Mafia”, which hit 2 in The Buzz Chart and was a Top 10 Cool Cuts Chart hit. They celebrated with a ferroush performance at the Horsemeat Disco Vogue Ball – as you do._________________________________________________________ __________________ Throughout his own projects Eazy has turned his hand to re-mixing some of the finest artists around, both new and legendary artists. He has recently had 3 of his remixes in the Upfront Dance Charts Top 30 at the same time (hoorah etc!), with Sam Sparro, Alphabeat and Sharleen Spiteri’s solo single - his Alphabeat remix also hitting the 1 spot on the Commercial Chart !
