Funkeyh(Mc / Producer / Audio engineer)
Born 25.3.1988 in the little bilingual village called Box in the commune Sibbo, the eastern neighbour of Helsinki. This Swedish-speaking Finn got introduced to the hiphop culture in the age of thirteen by his friends. At that time the biggest influence was without a doubt Cypress hill.
Writing lyrics started to interest, and soon F recorded his first songs together with his friend dj eL at Papa monteros homestudio. The first recordings were in raw old school english, but after realizing it didn..t work out too well the language changed to Finnish.
After a few live performances F started to work hard to earn money for his own studio gear. Studio engineering and different music styles started to interest. Thou his young age F has already had the opportunity to work with versatile artist around the globe. As a mc he..s always looking for new challenges, in producing trying to break the genre bounderies and create tracks that sound unique.
Funkeyh is also a member of the "famous" NBCREW, the other members are DT1 & Elias L. The debute album will drop in summer 2008.
