About Me
I was broun in Lithuania. 6 years old I started play piano. But 6 years later found out, that piano isn‘t my instrument. So there started my through instruments (guitar, bass guitar, few woodwinds). And finally I found drums! So I was 14 yeas old when I first tried to learn drumming myself. Soon I found out that without drum teacher wouldn’t get any results, so I found a good teacher.
My first band “Menhyr†was influenced norvegian black metal wave. So I joined group at 1997. So 6 month later we recorded studio album.
1998 I’ve joined band “Ugnelakis†(black/trash/death/pagan metal). We worked hard and in period of 2 years “Ugnelakis†become one of leading underground bands in Lithuania.
Since 1998 I started my studies in conservatory of Vilnius, I learned jazz, latin, pop drumming. And that was the time, when I started to work as independent drummer.
2001 I’ve created my own percussion project “Griausmo Vie--paciaiâ€.
Since year 2000 there was lot of changes: for few years I‘ve played with „Mandragora“, „Desmod“, „Creeptor“, „Crossroad“, „Soul Brothers“, „project-S“, and other artists as session drummer.
2004-2008 I‘ve played band „Fata Morgana“ (rock/hard rock) one of the leading rock bands of Lithuania.
2005 the legendary Lithuanian hard & heavy band “SBS“ (Spicy Bits of Scandal) was reburn. Since then I take a part in it till 2008. http://www.myspace.com/menuliosviesa
2006 I was invited to play with „Gotheanum“.
2008 I've became member of "Soul Stealer" with realese of album "Soul Stealer".My latest works as independent/session drummer is: few studio singles with – „Dzeen“, „IDT“, „Boo“, „Sportas“; album with „Gotheanum“.My gear: acustic set – sonor - BD 18", snr 14", toms 10", 12", 14", (8").
