About Me

My job requires me to stay on the cutting edge of the social technologies so I am probably more "connected" than most people. You can probably find everything about me by going to all of the places where I lurk online. Here are a few.

My Interests

Hangin with the fam, watching (good) movies, helping to manage a college radio station, taking silly pictures of my son, freecycling, dumpster diving and lots of other things i can't think of right now. My main focus lately is transforming my yard into a cute english garden. I'm not happy unless dirt is under my fingernails.

I'd like to meet:

Sam Beam

Music:

I have been shuffling my ipod and itunes lately to find the gems in my collection i have been overlooking lately. Go here if you want to see what's been playing lately.

Movies:

I have been pretty good lately at seeing some new(er) films. These were all great so go watch them:
28 weeks later
Hot Fuzz
Jesus Camp (it was terrifying)
Why We Fight
The Prestige
Children Of Men
The edukators (german)
Tsotsi (south african)
The Departed
Pans Labyrinth
Who Killed the electric car
little miss sunshine
an inconvenient truth
wordplay
american hardcore
metal:a headbangers journey

Television:

I always have one guilty pleasure show at any given time and it is currently "Hell's Kitchen". I started watching it while i was on maternity leave with Isaac and got hooked on Gordon's foul mouth. He has told quite a few contestants to fuck off this season. It just warms my heart.

b Soon though, "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" will be back. They took away my dear beloved Arrested Development but have left this show untouched so far:)

Books:

I started Fear and Loathing on the campaign trail but i haven't been really good at reading it as often as i should. I'm also stumbling through The Devil Wears Prada.

Heroes:

Dr. Seuss, Johnny Cash, Jim Henson
