Proteus

Proteus is Joe Smith . A guy who likes to make music and also enjoys cycling, eating, sleeping and wearing clothes. Joe is in a band, Defy This , where he plays bass. But sometimes, he likes to sit back, and write his own music, drawing influence from a multitude of sources. Music is a big part of his life. He feels it can express every emotion, convey any feeling and even get old people to boogie on down at a 1970s disco themed reunion in an old disused barnyard at midnight...
Go make a cup of tea, then sit down with a packet of custard creams and listen to my music with headphones on and the bass turned up really loud. Then, dunk your biscuit at each new musical phrase, slowly devouring and chewing to the tempo of the track, only to swallow at each new drum pattern. That is how I intend my music to be heard. Or you could just listen to it and let me know what you think. It's your call.
