Welcome to my little piece of the information superhighway. Lets see first let me explain why I started a page. Being a Mom is one of the best things I've ever done. But being a Single mom, it's not as easy for me as it is for my other girlfriends to go out and find time or places to meet people. So one of them suggested I try this.Let's see I'm a Pisces and a fairly typical one at that. We are very tied to our emotions and are highly loyal. I've got a couple people in my life I would do anything for. Okay you already read all the silly stuff like age and height, so here's the rest. I am a very weird mix of ideals and beliefs. I'm a rare breed of Republican. I'm an Environmentalist Republican. Didn't think those existed did ya? We are avid recyclers in my house. I am fairly conservative in my thinking regarding economic and most other areas. I was born Catholic but I can't honestly claim it as mine anymore. There as to many things I disagree w/. I believe priets should be allowed to marry. I believe that there is nothing wrong w/ same sex marriage or gays adopting and raising children. A loving home is always better then being a ward of the state. The state can't tuck you in at night. There are some other things but those are the big ones.I am Sober I celebrated 13 years Sober in May. It's a big part of my life and friends of Bill Wilson are always welcome to stop by and say hey.A Let see I love to watch baseball. I'm a big Chicago Cubs fan, Any one who knows anything about Cubs fans knows we don't give up a dream or a fight easily. My parents are both from Chicago and thats one of the things I got from them. I also love Hockey, but there I route for the home team. I'm a Thrashers Fan. Little mixed up I know but there it is. My daughter is 8 yrs old and I wish I had her energy. Chasing and shuttling her around is what my exercise routine consists of (besides shopping that is! It counts don't laugh!) I would love to have the discipline to go to the gym. However the only way I'll stick to that would be to have a personal trainer. And that ain't happening anytime soon. I try to be a good example for her and guide her to the best of my ability. When she grows up it'll be my turn to hear that I'm so uncool, just like I said to my mom. She does horseback ridding and her horse is out in Snellville, GA. Grandma gets to pick up the tab on that, thank God. But it is good for her, it's given her something to be passionate about.I have two cats that I completely adore. They are love w/ four feet, And 2 of my best friends. They can always be counted on to make me feel loved when I'm having a bad day.I also adore style and fashion. I only have about a hundred fashion Magazines strewn all over my coffee table.I love to go shopping when I have some money to blow which is never very often. The great thing about being me is I had a great mom who taught me how to stretch a dollar to un-godly lengths, seriously it's not human how far my mom can make money go. I'm also really good at pulling together stuff and making a home look fairly good w/ seriously nothing expensive. Again thank you mom.My Daughter Alyssa lost her horse Gunny in June. We were very sad to loose her she was a great horse. We lost her due to some medical issues brought on by negligence by the owner of the barn she was at. We were not alerted to her condition until it was too late and then surgery and then complications from that. The other two horses were moved to a new barn and are doing fine, but they miss her and Alyssa's grandmother says they look around for her once in a while.
