D-Kknight, born Rashad N. Williams was born and raised in the city of Jacksonville, Fl. At an early age, he was always into music, his mother often let him listen to a variety of music while he was in the womb. She would listen to her music through her headphones and after a period of time would put the headphones on her stomach for D-Kknight to hear. As he got older, he would hum tunes through the house, even gatherin lil kids around him just to listen to him. He would beat on tables for hours and hum a tune at the same time when people wanted to dance or battle rap. He sung in the church choir and often played various instruments such as drums, congos and even a lil piano without ever takin a lesson. Eventually he would try his hand at rappin as a hobby. Then one day a friend introduced him to his first real keyboard, The Korg Triton. The future stared him in his eyes. He played with the keyboard for hours, learnin more about making beats. D-Kknight couldnt afford a keyboard like the Triton so he went to the music stores and play with the keyboard for hours, everyday, rain sleet or snow, he showed up. The passion he had for the music drew attention to a group known as SOLCLAP but that was short lived. From there he went from group to group, when the last group fell apart, D-Kknight was a nomad in search of destiny once again. One of his old groupmates and bestfriend decide to make a song just to see if that had would it took to make it. The song received a huge response which thrusted D-Kknight into the forefront as the main producer and only producer of the supergroup Double S. Now as Executive producer and co-CEO of Southern Stars, he has made hits just as THE DIRRTY and FLOSSED UP. Some songs such as I KNOW I CAN and READY FOR WAR are huge hits around Europe. D-Kknight has met such artist as Slim Thug, Ludacris, T.I. just to name a few. D-Kknight is now considered a major force in the Duval movement.
