Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Seriously into music since my early teens, I love constantly finding new artists and bands. I have been in several music projects myself, worked at (and then ran) a record store for a number of years, and have continued doing remix and production work to this day, though less so in recent years(under the name 'NLX'). While I have loved a few artists and genre's for a long time, I get bored of the same stuff from artists, and am most drawn to scenes and artists that reinvent themselves. Im a lifelong gamer : I have watched the evolution of the art form and the technology behind it since childhood (360 Gamertag: GANEMYDE). I am the owner of a humble hilltop house that I am slowly remodeling, and am blessed to have a wonderful girlfriend and 3 cats there with me... It is truly a home, and I am thankful. I love reading, art, science and photography. I absolutely adore nature, I love hiking, gardening, exploring our natural world. I am active in causes I care about: Trying to transition our culture to a 'greener' one, raising environmental awareness and helping people see its impact, and revising the drug war to follow science rather than ideology (and isn't that the problem with many of our policies?). I am very much a liberal, I oppose war unless absolutely needed, I feel people in government should be chosen on intellect, and I distrust a government that takes my rights away to 'protect' me. I dislike our materialistic culture... there is alot more to life than things, and the never ending quest for more things. I believe the greatest freedom is freedom of thought. I like people that look at things a little deeper, and think for themselves. I get annoyed by people who must force their religion/ world view/ politics at the expense of my rights, and the rights of others. I love a good debate, and the chance to find a new perspective. There is always more to learn. As it has been said, 'Nothing is to be feared, only understood'.

Of the war and random thoughts II.

I just wish the Bush years would end. I was too young to see it then, but looking back I understand that the Reagan years were quite conservative(and GREEDY) at many levels. I came of age in the quite...
