My name's CHA CAL a.k.a DONGLESIAS and I'm an emcee/producer from Brixton, South London. I've been honing my skills over many a year, including producing and collaborating with other artists. My music draws influences from many different styles, ranging from early nineties East Coast Boom Bap to Leftfield to straight up bangers. I also play bass in Kartel, a South London based Hardcore band who have been dropping records and gigging for the past five years.I've recorded a demo which has received very good reviews in various magazines and has received airplay on several internet and pirate radio stations. It has been a very busy year as I'm on the verge of releasing my first full length - No Cheap Thrills Vol. 1 - hopefully dropping December 2006. Also dropping a 7" on Hoochinoo Live featuring Kashmere Iguana Man, Combined Mentalz and Specone.I will be setting up a proper website soon, where you can download tracks and there will be beats available for all you hungry emcees!!
