Kathleen Pearson-Thomas Kathleen's musical beginnings start in Los Angeles, where she was raised listening to Blues, Gospel, Rock and Soul. She moved to London where she involved herself in various music recording projects, theatrical productions, and appeared in several popular videos including the Chemical Brothers, Eternal, and Boy Zone. In London Kathleen became one of the first models to carry that "Bald is Beautiful" look. With this look she modeled in advertisement for Carlsberg Beer, Euro Star, the Body Shop, I.D magazine to name a few. Her television appearences include "Top of the Pops", BBC, "This Morning", Granada ITV, and "The Word" Channel 4. While appearing on television, she was spotted by a music mangement company where she and her band were quickly signed to Columbia Records. With Columbia they toured through out Europe, and at Montreaux Jazz Festival their preformance received a standing ovation! They played to sell-out crowds at the Shepherds Bush Empire, The Fourm in Kentish Town, and The Grand in Clapham. Now living in Malaga, Spain... Kathleen is writing and preforming with some of the Costa del Sol..s most seasoned musicians and has been profiled on Ondacero International Radio(OCI) "Profile" program. She also performed live on air with Authur Brown and Lito Blues Band on Terry Clear..s "Blues Hour". A brilliant beginning for 2009 saw "Kat" in Australia performing with the Shinkickers at the Victoria Park Hotel for the "Victoria Fire Appeal" and at the highly acclaimed Perth Blues Club, Mojos Fremantle and the Davilak Taverin. Returning to the UK, to perform at the renowned Shakedown Blues Festival www.shakedownblues.co.uk. Recently having performed at the first anual Coin International Blues Festival with Spinning Coin. Kathleen will give her second apperance on the 12th and 14th of June 2009 at the 3rd anual Mijas International Blues Festival with her band the "Valvetones".
