Formed in september of 2001, GRITOS DE ALERTA, is a hardcore-punk band from Porto Alegre, Brasil, that sings in portuguese with political and personal lyrics. Self-labeled Inferno Beat. Usually known by it's energetic and violent sound, and, technically speaking, crusty-hardcore thrash.
The 1st guitar player, Moisés, played with us until February 2004, recording the demo and the split's 7" with HERESIA, JESUS CROST and KRUSH. VÃtor joined the band later and recorded the split 7" with SICK TERROR. In April 2005, Rodrigo (ex-TUMOR, INFINITY WAR, ALCAPONES) assumed the guitar and this is current line-up:

Gustavo plays on other band (bass on UNIDOS PELO ODIO), except for Rodrigo, the others are all original members.
We were composing new songs to record the first full-length but actually the band is really down and slow, we will be probably back again with full force later 2007, till there keep your eyes on UNIDOS PELO ODIO, they will record new songs for a 7" and Gustavo plays now with a Rickenbacker 1974 bass, also look around for Michel's band DAMN LASER VAMPIRES, dark and obscure 80's psycho-gothic band.
