The story of Ms. Sara Granda is one of drive, perseverance and pure sass. After incurring a high level spinal cord injury shortly after High School graduation and just before beginning studies in nearby San Luis Obispo, Ms. Granda spent close to three years in six different hospitals on the west coast. In the subsequent years, she resumed her studies, now focusing on social work. She reports she has found herself limited in her career as a social worker and is attending law school this fall at Hastings college of law. Sara states that she has been able to share such incredibly trying and fulfilling occurrences with some truly amazing people including her close friends and dear family. Though her most recent long term relationship of five years ended poorly, she remains optimistic of those of the opposite sex. Her younger sister of ten years remains her love and she looks forward to future endeavors in public policy as she has enjoyed the legislative work she has undertaken thus far.
Sure, I know the whole “third person†thing is kinda lame. But really…this is My Space, who’s calling whom lame?Ok everybody, yes to update, Hastings let me do my first year here at UC Davis. I actually like it better then I thought, but still have an interview for an apartment in Mill Valley. One has to always think big, because the ball doesn't come to you, you go to the ball, right?
