It started from three best friends initiative which has joined on the same band. On this band, Anda (vocal, guitar) was a drummer, while Andhika (backing vocal, guitar, bass) was a bass player and Rengga (guitar). They were played music since year 2000. Since year 2003, They started to compose songs which used for personally. However, they are willing to introduce their songs to the community after they received a lot of positive feedback for their songs. Anda, Andhika and Rengga then agree to form Melte as a media to express their music outside their previous band. Not only played their own songs, Melte also playing songs by Boys II Men, John Mayer, Keziah Jones, Baby Face, Mr. Big, Jamiroquai, and many more. For sure, they played with the Meltes accoustic own style. They also agree not to stick with one kind of music. With their Trio acoustic format, Melte tried to offer something different to all music listeners in Indonesia.
