About Me

Join the Blue Ribbon .. Free Speech Campaign!

Yeah, I'm a big dork.
I love to read, love to write, love to teach, love to learn.

In my free time, I like to listen to music, attempt to sing and dance, train my dog, play my guitar, and seek a greater truth.

I guess I'm not your typical girl... I'm a political junkie. I like things like Astronomy and UFO's, Crop Circles and Cryptozoology. But, I also like puppies and kittens, and I absolutely refuse to leave the house if my nails aren't done. I'm a sucker for a sappy love song and I get teary-eyed at just about every movie I see. I also wish I was a pop star. Call me quirky. :)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Everybody! Seriously, if you have something to say, send me a message. I'm pretty open minded and friendly, for the most part. I just moved to Memphis, so I'm interested in meeting people from around here for sure...

I'd also quite like to meet this charming little fellow:

Astronomically speaking...

Cinco de Mayo has a cool little meteor shower associated with it - the Eta Aquarids. It's a small shower, having around 10 meteors per hour at its peak, but if you look east after midnight on May 5th ...

First Crop Circle of May

The first crop circle of May was discovered late yesterday (US time) in Wiltshire. I've begun referring to it as the "wheel" formation, but who knows what sorts of deep interpretations others will be ...

2 New Formations!

I'm a day late on the first one, but nobody's got aerial shots of it yet, so I don't feel too bad. From the few ground shots that are up, it looks to me to be reminiscent of the "dumbell" formations t...

April 24th "Molecule" Formation in Wiltshire

Oh boy... this one is definitely my favorite of the season so far. Unfortunately the farmer that owns this crop has prohibited researchers from entering the field to take ground shots, save for one. F...

The Sun Shines in Wiltshire!

As day broke in Wiltshire this morning, there was an additional sun to gaze upon, neatly etched into the fields of Rutlands Farm. Although there are not yet any ground photos or field reports ...

There Must Be Something in the Air...

So I was up all night and just woke up a few minutes ago. A quick check of the Connector and I was wide awake -- a new formation! Already?!At first glance, I see several things about this particular g...

Listen Up, People!!!

I'm a little late with this, but I've been out of town the past few days. It seems that the 14th of April brought us the first crop circle of the 2009 season. At long last the wait is over! From the Cr...

Sad News...

Being that it's still technically considered off-season as far as crop circles are concerned, I haven't been very diligent in checking the various crop circle news sites in the past few months. Since ...
