"Working is all about…its about energy. Its about me being able to communicate and get in sync with the person I’m photographing or a group of people..I am. To me its almost like being a director or cheerleader… putting on music and getting people amped or making them cry and doing what ever you kinda want to do.You get there and you just make it up. I make it up as I go along you know..and improvise. Its kind of spontaneous and you kind of feed off a person and see what they’re willing to do, or give, or what they’re into, or how they’re feeling that day, or what mood they’re in.The most exciting thing is to watch someone blossom and open up…you know…cause I think that’s a beautiful thing. Its like a flower that just opens up.. you know. Or when you shoot a movie star and all of a sudden their shirts off and their doing karate kicks and f***in screaming and yelling. They’re like “Wow that was f***ing liberating. I was free. You know...I never get to do that. Every shoot is like… Im in a suit and I gotta look like this and be really handsome and like I just wanna f***ing bug out and cut looseâ€.
