I dig:
-mental stimulation..
-popular and not-so-popular culture..
-good restaurants, old and new..
-venturing into both the known and unknown..
-hanging with friends & fam..
-dorisha: go! go! ichisan..
-tuff wheels..
-stacks of tires that don't fall apart..
-cherry alignment settings..
-indestructible frp..
-makin' ends meet..
steady hands with the torch..
making standard tools feel less foreign..
-good game, candace..
-sleep, as time allows..
-oh, and quality over quantity!
YOU.. if you're lucky..
The iPod's full of rock, pop, punk and breaks from the '80s, hip hop from the early '90s, and jazzy downtempo from this decade. The music brings back memories of people, places, and unforgettable experiences...
Newer stuff: Garden State, Sideways, Napoleon Dynamite, Coach Carter.. Foreign: Kung Fu Hustle, Returner, Naked Weapon, Nobody Knows, Young and Dangerous.. Timeless Classics: Breakfast Club, Pulp Fiction, Sixteen Candles, Risky Business, Top Gun, and a Japanese movie series from the early '90s called "TRIAL" on top of a gazillion others.. Oh, and the HK-produced 'initial D' live action movie was dope.. F&F better step up or stop trying.. Jus says that they forgot the 4-throttle sound effects though, haha.. Yes, Netflix rocks..
TV??
Grisham, Crichton, Clancy, Coelho, et.al..
also, a slew of periodicals that keep me up on the world around me..
My grandparents, my mom & dad, and everyone I've met that was smart enough, daring enough, or lucky enough to follow their dreams..
