Sacramento Police investigators Friday released the sketch of a person of interest in the drive-by shooting that killed a woman leaving a Sacramento nightclub last weekend.
Mary Ourk, 21, was driving south on 12th Street around 2 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle pulled alongside her car and a gunman opened fire.
Ourk, a Stockton native and student at American River College, was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound. Ourk and a friend had just left the Empire Entertainment Center nightclub near 15th and R streets moments before the shooting.
Sacramento police Sgt. Matt Young said detectives talked to witnesses, but so far, had few leads in the case.
The suspect in the killing is described as a dark-skinned male, 22-25 years old with a medium build and short hair. The suspect was possibly driving a white sedan.
Young said the composite sketch is a person that may have been in the area at the time of the shooting.
