I get my inspiration to write songs from the people who piss me off.
Hey guys! It's Joel here. Welcome to my MUSIC MYSPACE. I hope you like it. This is just a side project that I am working on. I really don't know what I got myself into, but it is really fun. I write all my own songs and then create them with the help of some people. I have been getting alot of feedback on everything and I hope you guys enjoy it. I am still experimenting and each song I record I get a new idea to record another one. Be ready and expect more this summer! It's my year bitch.
I think people aren't who they say they are and it bothers me. I am not as stupid as people think I am. I knew this myspace would be embarrassing and I knew people would judge me for it. But why should it matter? I am enjoying every second in the studio and nothing will bring me down.
There will always be those kind of people who will always be there to laugh at you, point their fingers at your wrong-doings/flaws, destroy your self-esteem, spread lies of your life, and try to make you something else to their surrounding. Then there are other people who push you to chase your dream, support your every move, love every step you take, and every risk that is being taken in.
I sat here on MYSPACE 2 years ago knowing that people would say I would never be able to do this. But in conclusion we see that people are WRONG. They told me I would never record a song, they told me my voice was to raspy and flat. Every negative comment is like a HUGE PUSH towards my dream.
Myspace is like highschool there's the wannabees, burnouts, jocks, outcasts, gays, preps, rebels, sluts, nerds, rejects, snobs. It's sad but very true.
I have recorded over 9 songs. I have 3 that are on my Myspace Page right now. "Beat Sauce" was my very first song I have ever recorded and it seems to be a favorite of many. My next song was "Don't Dish It Out" and the title describes how I felt. I was sick of people pissing me off so I pissed them off and then they got mad. It's lame, but karmas a bitch. And the last song on my page is my newest, "It's About Time," which is just a dark electric song. It's about blasting my music and having a good time.
