I am an old-fashioned, big, beautiful woman (BBW) who loves modern technology. However, my biggest passion has to be music. I was raised on many different styles of music so I listen to most everything. I love music that moves me and makes me want to move.
I love the software side of computers. I enjoy working with applications to see what they can and cannot do. I am always working on some sort of creative project on the PC. I am currently up to my elbows playing around with audio and video clips. This is just one of my areas of expertise where I work. I get the opportunity to work with many different cool tools/toys on the job.
My style is very eclectic. I go with things that catch my eye, not because they fit into a certain category. I love bright, vibrant colors, however there are some things that are best in black & white.
I love to hang out on Pogo (www.pogo.com) and play games with different people from around the world. I spend many evenings there playing Canasta, Spades, Gin, Pinochle, Hearts, and Poker. My daughter, who lives in the Netherlands, is a member as well. This is an excellent way for us to spend time together - - having a laugh, catching up on each other’s lives, and harassing other members during the games. We are definitely a force to be reckoned with in Canasta!
I also enjoy getting together with friends and playing board games as well as card games. Some of my favorite games are Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Backgammon, Monopoly, Carcassonne, Uno, Fluxx, and many others. I suppose you could say that I’m just a game-playing geek.
I also enjoy quiet times alone - either curled up and reading a good book or watching a good movie.
