Thaiman was doing his thing and got his band on the bill. Note the Coat Hanger logo. Thanks BA for the killer memories. Man the whole ECTT as well as Troy Chason Hound Dog and Lawrence, Sam Irby, Sam Boo, Mike Mapp, Pat Clark, Josh Marlow and the list goes on. All the old boys. Really a great sight.Sadly we must say goodbye to our friend Tony. Since seventh grade it has been a world with the Thiaman. With great sadness we lost him in OC last week at the age of 42. From the Loud Ones in Boston to the traffic at Micros ranch, those who knew the East Coast Toker knew he was not just a skater he was a legend. My friend of 30 years was an absolute one-man institution with in the skate culture and society of hardcore. Deep in the sub conscious of all of our alter egos, there is a certain amount of the Thaiman and there always will be. Some will admit it and some will deny it but all must agree that it is true. He was our punked out Tom Sawyer, and we were all his Huckelberrys being led into adventure after adventure. The memories are endless and could not be forgotten if I tried.
He showed us what to be and as well what not to be. A true one of a kind that now is the legend he always believed himself to be. Tony was the personification of American Hardcore. Rest in peace my old friend; you may be absent from this world but never forgotten.
