The short version:
Born in London, England, started playing piano at age 4, formal studies from age 5. Classically trained, also self-taught in contemporary styles and all keyboards.
Original member of British group The Fortunes (You've Got Your Troubles) 1964-70, (Decca Records UK, Press/London Records USA) ~ keyboards, vocals and arrangements.
Relocated to California 1971 and became studio keyboardist and arranger for instrumental guitar group The Ventures (Walk Don't Run, Hawaii Five-0) from 1971 to present.
Producer, arranger, musician, and/or vocalist on countless recordings by myriad artists over the past 35 years, including hits by Helen Reddy (Capitol) and Steel Breeze (RCA).
Wrote songs for The Flintstones TV cartoon series in the '70s. 25-year relationship with OGM (formerly Capitol) Production Music, recording much of the music in their library as well as designing, implementing and administering their music licensing and client/catalog management systems and software.
Original band member (keyboardist/arranger), Neil Norman and his Cosmic Orchestra, 1995-2001 (GNP Crescendo Records).
Currently partner and chief publicist in the entertainment PR and consultation firm The KubRo Group since mid-'90s. Heavily involved in preparation and editing of two music interview books by Harvey Kubernik, "This Is Rebel Music" and "Hollywood Shack Job" (University of New Mexico Press, 2003 and 2006 respectively).
Extensive touring experience (U.S., Europe, Japan, Central and South America) over more than four decades.
Still continuing all or most of these activities, plus now involved in artist management, where this lifetime of varied experiences has turned out to be a useful resource to draw on.
