Every child is a gift, and are born with a gift of their own some a form of talent and with more than one. On the beautiful Morning of April 14th, 1988 Monica Bermudez was blessed with the sunshine of life in this big world. Not knowing however that she would also be blessed as a child prodigy. At the age of 3 was when her talent and love of music became obvious. It began with dance, every bit of music she came across she danced to and at the age of 4 was when she became more passionate. This commencement began as for this gifted child had the privilege to perform with the former Latin artist Selena. . In the early years up to about the age of 18 she was asked and even paid to performed at birthday parties, Sweet 15’s and 16’s, as well as job locations around Palm Beach County loving every part of it. She participated in a few talent shows and also auditioned for school dance teams as well as Step teams once she reached high school. She then met Sean Green of the admirable Sean’s Dance Factory and became involved. At about that time in 2004-2006 during her High School Junior and Senior years she had Organized her own Hip Hop dance team “Lovers of Dance†for children and teens of all ages to keep them occupied, off the streets and out of harms way. As well as giving them the ability to expose their talents. The team performed at quite a few events/celebrations, One whom which they were participants in the Boynton Beach Christmas Parade two years in a row. One year even earning First Place.This coming to an end due to her moving out of State. However she was asked to participate for the 3rd year in a row for the Holiday Parade. Coming together with a friend and working on new last mintue choreography she entered and particpated once more with the Get Krunk team.Monica had always loved performing, however it wasn’t until her senior year when she began to foster her music and take it more seriously. She took on the name Dymnd D and after a few months, many songs written and recorded with help from Miami local artist and friend known as Moe the T.O. She was later introduced to both C.E.O’s of Lo Key Entertainment Daniel Wright and Clifford Henfield by Antoine T.Touch Ramsey whom which is a close friend of Monica. After being assigned and completing a random task on a song she was offered a contract to become a member of Lo Key Ent. becoming the labels “first ladyâ€. Changing and taking on the name Miss. Cellaneous likewise dedicating almost all of her time day and night to the studio she began recording her own music giving her the ability to perform in a few venues with label mates.
However.. lets also mention music is not the only talent this young lady is fortunate of having. Since her early ages she enjoyed modeling. Eager to be signed up for a chance to develop into a model. She auditioning for Scouts such as John Casablanca which she was offered a contract with, as well as contacts from Barbizon Modeling. Later she became a contestant in Florida ’s Miss Jr. Teen Fort Lauderdale Pageant which was a joyful experience for her. Again it doesn’t stop there; Monica has always also enjoyed writing poetry. This gave her the boost in writing her own lyrics. Some of her poetry even being posted and copy written on Poetry.com, whom which proposed her the ability to have a few of her poems in a book. At one point she even enjoyed sketching and designing clothes although she enjoyed it, it wasn’t what she wanted to engage much into.
This multi-talented young lady doesn’t wish to stop what she loves if not to flourish her talents and share them with others. As well as to send a message, It being to always follow your hearts and dreams, pursue your talents and to not be afraid to run with them and share them with the world. Just have faith in yourselves; And as she was once told by one. All that is needed is for one person to believe in you, the rest…. is up to you!.
