About Me

GET GAS is explosive electro-Funk with some Dub, Jazzy and DnB touches.Born in 2003, Goni (producer, guitar) and Emma aka Lady emZ (vocals, lyrics, arrangements) are formal members and founders of the project. McStormy (08001/ BarXino/ Rinse&Roll) and DjBu (scratch - Dubcelona) main collaborators on their recordings and some live performances, also members of "BarXino" had played live with the GET GAS family. Pitu (synths, guitars, voices, arrangements) and Tana (bass player) are the latest members to join the band (just a few months ago). J.Baptiste aka Z (from MonsieurZ) has added some lyrics to a cupple of new tracks, and the door's defently open for other artists to give their view and have they say, if they dig the sound... Video/visuals artist Alberto captivates the moods and themes of the songs, live and on their promo-videos (webside still under construction).One of their tracks ("check your sound") appears on the compilation album "DUBZ" (Dubcelona) in 2005, from then on they've played in various venues and parties in Barcelona: "Artfactory" (LA ESCOCESA Art space), "C3bar" (Centro cultura contemporanea, BCN), "Djs contra la fam" (Convent St.AgustÃ Theatre / San Antoni Market), "TÃ rrega Funk festival '06"...
