The most important thing people need to know about me is that I am a bit of a practical joker and love to make people laugh. If you can't laugh at yourself, you got real problems. I spent eight years as a Military Intel officer in the Army. It was the best(worst) time of my life. It allowed me the chance to see A LOT of the world...and so I settled in the bootheel of Missouri (huh?)...hey we're not at the end of the world (but, you can see it from here). Actually, I changed career paths just so I could come back to the Bootheel and love living here. The people are amazing and I have been blessed with friends I would sacrafice all for. I am currently an Alderman for a town of 3500 and run the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for New Madrid County. This keeps me fairly busy...add on top my real job @ 10 hrs a day and my need to "let off steam" every once and a while and you have my current addiction to really strong coffee. I have no children (I just teach my friends kids bad habbits and then ship em home), and have never been married. I've been close a couple of times, and have had my heart used as a chew toy more than a couple of times...but who hasn't? The one thing I have picked up on is the idea of leaving your bad baggage behind. Life is too short to carry animosity around with you. Every "bad" relationship (romantic or otherwise) I have ever been in has left me with two things. First-- some good memories..keep em, second-- a leason to be learned..keep it (let all the rest of the crap go...the best revenge is living well). That being said, people should know that I am honest and do not play games (at least not head games). I am not reckless with others emotions and will not tolerate thoes that are with mine.I am addicted to Current River (look for me...I'm the guy with the REALLY big and loud radio floating in the tube next to me...probibly the reason I'm on first name basis with all the water patrol officers up there). I was practicly raised on horseback, am above average at pool, and play a prety mean hand of poker. I consider myself average (Joe Buck's looks, Robin Williams attitude). I would add more pics of me to this, but the damn camera keeps breaking.
