Columbus, OH--With his hit song "Not Like Me," produced by The OC Recoding Company's Asaf Fulks, this hip hop singer-producer-songwriter makes it clear that there was not, is not and will not ever be anyone quite like Antonio Giovanni. With an uncanny ability to touch others with emotionally-charged reflections of his own life, Antonio Giovanni may come off as the "model type" in his pictures but clearly showcases his unique talent of telling stories about when life wasn't quite so picture perfect.
Forced into foster care and adoption between the ages of four and eleven, this Ohio native reflex on hard times in order to remind him of his true purpose.
"'Bring us back together...' Those were the last words she said to me. I refuse to let those things which tore us apart keep me from accomplishing that mission." And accomplished he has become!
Discovering his lyrical talent while completing his Media Technology & Arts degree, Antonio Giovanni thought it wise to move to Philadelphia and surround himself with a culture deeply rooted in hip hop. While there, he continued to work on his craft while working two full-time internships as a promoter for an independent record label and a legal assistant for an entertainment law firm--giving him the upper hand on many of his peers in the music industry.
