Her mother had her when she was 17 years old and her father went to Federal Prison when she was only 3 months old. Going to Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem let her see a new light. Like Dejha B said in her rhyme " The Bronx made me tough, but I got my style from Harlem, that's an ill combination so you know I'm a problem". In Harlem she was surrounded by talented people, that had a certain swagger. This made Dejha want to entertain more, and this let her escape whatever problems she had in life.Dejha B was singing and dancing since the age of 3 years old. At the age of 8 she and her 2 friends formed a dance group called D.W.A ( dancers with attitudes). For 8 years they graced many stages across the nation. They even toured with the world famous Apollo Theater best of the best tour.Dejha B knew she wanted to entertain but she just didn't know in what aspect. At the age of 16 she was dared to write and spit at an annual block party. From that day on she knew what she was destined to do. Early on she went by the name of Henasee. She has done an unsigned artist tour with former Bad Boy Recordng artist Verse and has done over 600 shows to date. Dejha B has been featured on numerous mix tapes including DJ Bedtyme 357( Remy Ma's DJ) straight sex mix tape hosted by Heather Hunter. She has also hosted DJ Bedtyme's mix tapes in the past.Dejha B is definitely a force to be reckon with in the rap game. With her take charge lyrics and her sexy but classy style she is bound to make it to the top. She puts her blood, sweat, and tears into every word she writes. She is not your typical female MC that only talks about their Prada shoes and how sexy they are. She rhymes about real life situations that women and men relates to, but at the same time can go toe to toe lyrically with any dude. She is now managed by Inasirkl Music Group.
