About Me

Open ended questions like this are horrid. It seems that one always writes too much about the wrong thing and far too little about the right. However, here is my attempt: I am your atypical computer geek. If it has to do with computers and technology I have most certainly heard of it, probably already know how to use/fix it, and quite possibly own it. That is the geek part of my life. I say atypical because, unlike most self professed geeks I am a social butterfly, I excel in situations where I have to speak to audiences, and I am fairly well versed in the English language. Also unlike the typical geek I am knowledgeable in things far beyond computers. Not to forget about the fact that I don't fear sunlight; my tan proves it. Nor do I fear manual labor; my hands prove that. As much time as I spend in the dark in front of a computer I spend in the light with other members of this world. I find myself reading a book as often as I do in front of my computer. Although, to be honest, I am usually doing both!! Without reading and computers I would be lost. Not to mention music. Music is ALWAYS playing in my house, whether I am here or not. I have found that my eccentricity in book and music genres has led to a fairly well rounded collection. You are just as likely to find Einstein sitting next to the Dalai Lama, as well as Mozart playing immediately after Jethro Tull. I take great pride in the way that I treat others. I was raised with manners, and I put them to use. I am one of the last remaining true Gentlemen, and am very aware of how odd that is in today's world. Yes, there are others that act like gentlemen, however, with most it is mere contrivance; a mask that can be slipped on in order to obtain something. For me, it is a lifestyle, not a mask. Well that is enough talking about what is most likely the wrong stuff! Until next... ~Aaron
A gentleman, a scholar, a lover, and a friend. To be alive is a reward; one to be cherished. I do cherish this Life.
As if the scattered sparks from the great fire of creation must obey a cosmological command to rejoin, we are compelled to seek the missing parts of ourselves. We collect friends, we require mates. Each of us separately is a fragment; Life is the whole

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that can hold a conversation for more then five minutes, of which the subject matter is more then how wasted/stoned/laid/ .

Music:

Anything and everything. I can honestly say that I will listen to anything. Now, the true question is whether or not I will enjoy it. To give you an idea though; my Winamp playlist currently ranges from Bach to Ludacris.

Television:

Hmm...I don't own one, so I guess I can't fill this in then, eh? Okay, okay. I own one now. But I only really watch Mythbusters and movies.

Books:

Currently Reading:
The Beauty Myth
Philosophy and the Matrix
A Life in Letters - A collection of personal letters written by Ronald Reagan throughout his life.
