my name is matt milgate. i play bass for a band called Language of The Mad. find us at myspace.com/musicofthemad, or just click on the link below. we have been together for a little over a year, but i have been playing for much longer than that. before this i played bass for mayavirupa for 3 1/2 years, a number of bands before that, and have been playing guitar for a total of 16 years. i am very thankful that i found this unique group of individuals who share my passion for music. this is the most fun i have ever had playing and writing music and playing live shows. i enjoy just about anything that has to do with music. music is my release from anger, pain, and sadness, and is an extension of that which inspires me. in music you can be totally free. i am engaged to a beautiful and amazing woman and we are expecting our first child in october. i am super excited but of course i have my fears and doubts as im sure many others have. i know i'll be a good father, im just a little scared because i know that this is going to be my toughest challenge yet, and i have been through a lot in my life. i have lost a best friend and a brother to cancer. i have lost close friends and family to illness and accidents. i've been to war and fought for my country, and now i'm scared of a cute little baby. kinda funny really.
