I can tend to be a smart ass, but no harm is ment. I am easy going, funny, but i can be shy around large groups of new people, give me 15 minutes and I am good to go.
I also dj, but i only play what your mom wants to hear.
~I think you can tell alot about a person by what type of music they like..listen to, or even how willing they are to listen to something different, and with that i give you......~
i love almost all kinds of music. My roots go back to when i was a kid, listening to old hip hop and R&B with my mom and aunt. Later fell into the ska..punk scene where i stayed forever until the downfall. i still listen to old ska..punk, always a place in my heart for the Parka Kings. There is some new S..P that is good.
Then i Fell into the rave scene, at first for the wrong reasons, but in the end, i came out with a whole new love for music. The drugs and underground allure pulled me in, and the music saved me. which is why i love dj'ing now, the feeling of playing music for people and making them smile, dance, giving them that moment they will remember.
Generally, I like music that has something to say, some sort of message, a story, a lesson, or just a good time. Music should spark an emotion, we all have that song that hits us just right, it either brings a tear to your eye, reminds you of a loved one, or it may make you want to just jump in a pit and slam people around, it could make you want to dance, or relax.
Guys, please, quit wearing chick pants, pink shirts, and make up......it's not as cool as you're little emo band tells you it is....trust me.
I love Detroit, it's an amazing place. I tend to go there when ever i have extra time. i enjoy taking pictures down there, or just driving around looking for something i have never saw before. fuck kwame. I think i need to get more involved with the city though. i feel like i could do some positive things. Hopefully i can. I've made one step closer to living there, east Detroit(point) it is for now.
