Sa’mira started singing at an early age, and since then has had the opportunity to enhance her gift through training received with the Greater Faith Deliverance Temple Youth Choir in Pleasantville, New Jersey. She has performed on many platforms such as the100thBirth Celebration of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Battle by the Bay Basketball Tournaments, and opening up for platinum recording artist Juelz Santana and Trey Songs at the House of Blues. As well as singing back ground for Mariah Carey. Sa’mira performed at the album release concert for E. T. Production’s artist Michelle Taylor Buster as well. She has also been featured on numerous dj mixtapes that have been featured in The Source Magazine. Sa’ mira’s singing style has been compared to artists such as Beyonce Knowles and Keisha Cole to name a few. She has recorded with some of jerseys best known producers such as Chris & Teeb (done songs for Danity Kane, Olivia, and Young Leek), Eric Mobley, and Michael Donaldson w/ Dark child, Raphael Hamilton, and Dre of Narcotics productions( songs w/ Teairra Mari ft. Kanye west and Jay Z), and Super Dave ( songs w/ 50 cents G-unit & Akon). She has featured with artist such as Grammy nominated Sizzla “Bad Memories”, which will be on the national distributed mix tape with south jersey recording artists Tiffany Evans and Young Steff. Sa’mira’s talents go beyond her singing career. As a member of the Atlantic City P.A.L (A.C.P.A.L) , Sa’ mira had joined a hip hop dance club called Hypnotized, with whom she performed with at many talent shows and schools in New Jersey. She has also traveled to New York to perform as well. Sa’ mira’s affiliation with the A.C.P.A.L’s was expanded when she pursued the theatrical training program and ultimately landed the role in the: A.C.P.A.L.’s version of “Cinderella”. Sa’ mira is now a senior in high school and this year she is expanding her career in so many ways. She has recently been awarded R&B singer of the year at the South Jersey Music Awards. She will be opening for Carl Thomas, Avant, and Soldier Boy this year, however there will be much more in line. Not only is she performing, but she also has a major investment deal on the table that is soon to take place with Major Impact ENT. /BMM ENT. With God giving talents Sa’mira plans to become a young superstar delivering a positive message to other young people. With God’s help, Sa’mira will make a difference.
