The Patatas Chipas Club is a collective of ten musicians from different origins all living in the Lemanic arc. With nearly a hundred concerts performed since 2001, this powerful “groove machine” can be seen in different festivals and Swiss clubs spreading their “hip hop-groove” cocktail with a touch of “soul-jazz”.
They released two albums in 2005 and 2006 (“Patasmataz vol.1 & vol.2”) by collaborating with Oni/Epik who also commercialised two LPs in 2003 and 2005 (Fonetik & àbru(p)t). Disque Office and Namskeïo respectively distribute both groups.
This fruitful collaboration gave birth to an explosive chemistry on stage during the Summer Patatour 2006, which counted over 30 concerts.
This year, the patatas chipas club took a new route. Lynsun, a soulful singer is now on stage accompanying Oni/Epik to entertain the crowd. This new musical taint is actually taking place in preparation for the upcoming album for 2008.
