About Me

Thursday Afternoon Jazz is a weekly radio programme on 102.7FM CILU Lakehead University Community Radio in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and has been running continuously since CILU went on the FM airwaves in 1995 and was running for two years prior to that on an Internet-only broadcast stream.
The show features a wide range of up-and-coming jazz and blues artists, focusing specifically on Canadian acts.
Thursday Afternoon Jazz has its own website with show information and the occasional album review.

I'd like to meet:

Jazz and Blues artists and groups of all kinds who want to be heard on CILU Radio. Also, Record labels, promoters and music fans interested in having their clients or favourite artists heard on Thursday Afternoon Jazz, and like minded individuals who want to talk community radio or music.

Music:

Jazz and Blues of all kinds, ranging from traditional and Dixieland to fusion and post-modern, with a particular affection for female jazz vocalists.
