T alented, laid-back, innovative, sassy, sweet - ask anyone who knows her or has worked with her, and these are just some of the words people usually use to describe Nashville's Kysa Siovan. Her love for music and the theater started at a very young age when she starred in her first musical in the 3rd grade. "I loved the feeling performing gave me, I was kinda shy growing up and it allowed me to become a new person," she says, reminiscing on how it gave her confidence, "I guess I'm lucky to have found my 'niche' so early."
F ast-forward to the present and the educated writer/songstress/actress is ready to persue her passion. Kysa has already finished production on two independent films and is scheduled to work on another this spring in Nashville. Being tagged as a "scene stealer" in one of her films, "Fat Chance" (trailer featured below), she is already beginning to make a name for herself. "I was fortunate to work on Fat Chance, it was a small role, but I was able to get that experience and run with it," she says of the film, adding that the cast and crew of the film were great to work with.
W ith a progressing film schedule and not mention working on writing her own lyrics and scripts everyday, what's next? "I haven't forgot about my music, I love it," Kysa adds, saying that she has material that she will crank out soon - but how does she find the time with everything on her plate? The 5'3" beauty just laughs, "I'll just work now and sleep later!"
