About Me
Chris found his love to music very early. In his childhood he started collecting records. With 16 years he bought himself with his first earned money a pair of 2 Technics 1210 turntables and a mixer. After learning and practicing the skills of a dance DJ he got his first Gig at the legendary KRYPTHA cathedral in the near of Vienna.
1998, one year later, he won with a broken leg, of over 1000 newcomer DJs the official BMG-DJ-Newcomer Contest in Austria.
With 20 years he was the first time on the white island. He went to Ibiza, and he was so much impressed by the emotions, the exciting flair and the amazing club culture of the Balearic crowd. From this time he was addicted to the drug “House Musicâ€.
Now, the name CHRIS VEGA is synonymous for funky, slamming, high octane house music! His innovative and creative DJ-Sessions can be described as a mixture of funky- Vocal house, pumpin- and electro-house but every performance is unique.
He is always very flexible because he knows how to get the crowd freaking out in clubs or festivals like: PACHA VIENNA, VOLKSGARTEN, LE PASSAGE, DOM IM BERG, LOVEPARADE 2002, DONAUINSELFEST 2002, PACHA AUSTRIA TOUR, BACARDI DECADENCE and many more.
In the last 13 Years Chris had already the pleasure to play with lots of international DJ's like AXWELL, DAVID GUETTA, TOM NOVY, EDDIE AMADOR, BODYROCKERS, IAN CAREY, PHIL FULDNER, MAJOR BOYS, SARAH MAIN, JOY DE LA ROSA, SUPERFUNK, TUNE BROTHERS, GORDON EDGE, and many more.
Chris Vega is an inspiration. He is a remarkable talent and a consummate professional. His music is borne of real life and real passion. This is just the beginning for Chris. He knows where he's going, and he'll certainly get there.
