Prairie Town

About Me

Prairie Town has been playing live shows since the fall of 1985. Originally a power trio the band released their first record "For Keeps and a Single Day" in 1991. Scott joined the band in 1992. Since then the band have released the records "Plain and Simple" in 1992, "Everything" in 1994, "Necessary Chances" in 1995, and "Songs of the Post-Depression Era" in 1999. In 2001 the band moved into a new practice room / studio formed by Paul in 2001. This new studio - loud cottage studios would be the home of a new era of recording for the band. They began to manage, produce, and engineer all parts of their records. The first record out of their home studio was a 23 song release called "Season in Hell" in 2003. The new follow up out of loud cottage studios is "Population 4" (2006). This new record might be the most diverse and challenging record the band has made to date. They look forward to promoting the new release. Population 4 can be purchased at cdbaby.com
