The Reekys

The Reekys started back in 1995 and just wanted to have some Rock'n'Roll fun in the basement! Doc W. Reeky and Chris Reeky went to the same school and met Steven Reeky through Swindlebra Records. Finally in 1997 the three brothers managed to crawl out of their Rehearsalroom to conquer the world! Since that day The Reekys played a lot of fine shows with bands such as the Scumbag Roads, Groovie Ghoulies, The Queers, Chixdiggit, Cave 4, The Buzzcocks, Retarded and the Apers. As you know how those bands sound, I guess it's easy for you to imagine how the Reekys sound like. It's a edgy Punkrocksound with loud buzzsaw guitars combined with good hooklines and retarded vocals about girls, cars and stupid nonsense! Until now they released a now sold out debut 7" "Idon't wanna talk to you" and the follower "we're in love with the Boonaraaas" split 7" on the great Rock'n'Roll label Swindlebra! Their full length album is in the works right now and will be released later this year! Watch out because The Reekys are playing shows all over Europe and if you're waiting long enough, or contact them they will rock your town to ashes!
