For about five years, Jimmy and the Parrots have been playing to delighted crowds in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Alabama, and Maryland. In addition, we were a featured band at the 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2006 Meeting of the Minds Parrothead Conventions in Key West, Florida, playing the main stage as well as performances at the famous Rick’s Café, Sloppy Joe's, The Rum Barrell, and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville on Duval Street. Our 2000 and 2004 Meeting of the Minds performance was broadcast live around the world on Radio Margaritaville. The title track from our debut CD, "Yea Mon," was included in a beach music compilation CD entitled, "Thongs in the Key of Life, Vol. II." In October 2003, we released our new CD of all-original tunes, "Better Than New," to rave reviews. Our new album, "Island Jam", is now available for purchase in all major chain stores, including: Best Buy, Target, and WalMart. This 3-disc compiliation includes many of your favorite island tunes by artists like Jimmy Buffett, Harry Belafonte, Jimmy and the Parrots, and some good 'ole fashion rock n' roll all performed by Jimmy and the Parrots.One of the most requested Jimmy Buffett tribute bands in the country, Jimmy and the Parrots perform not only all the great Buffett songs you love, they also play new and classic rock 'n roll, as well as outstanding original tunes written by lead singer/guitarist Jimmy Maraventano.
