Bonnie Lentz, Director of the Jesus House, was raised in a dysfunctional home on the west side of Bloomington. At a young age, Bonnie began to search for a life purpose through New Age spiritualism and witchcraft. At the age of 21, Bonnie heard the Gospel for the first time, had an encounter with the Living God, and was radically transformed from darkness into light- becoming instantly delivered from a life of addiction. From that point on, she has been spreading God's Word both within and outside of church settings, including serving in prison ministry from 1997-2001. In 2000, Bonnie and her husband, Thomas, obeyed the Lord by founding the Jesus House- where they currently serve as missionaries to the poor and needy. Bonnie is a gifted teacher of the Word who not only frequently preaches at the Jesus House but also teaches a weekly Bible class, at the Home Sweet Home Mission, for the Threshold Rehabilitation Program. She is also a passionate musician who has recorded two CDs, is currently directing the Jesus House choir, and loves to lead others into the presence of the Lord through praise and worship.......
