The Magic Moment is that in which a 'Yes' or a 'No' may change the whole of our existence ~Paulo Coe

About Me

Where do I begin? I hardly know how to sum it all up when everyday I'm continually discovering new things, but I guess it's best to start with what I already know for sure... I wish on stars. I'll wake up at any time of night to hear the voice of a friend. My natural high is driving barefoot with the windows down and the volume up. Spontaneity is essential to keep me stimulated, and responsibility is necessary to keep me fulfilled. I believe happiness can be as simple as ice cream piled between two eggo waffles, or the cool underside of pillows turned over in the middle of the night. I'll sing along loudly in my car, and when the CD skips I'll get embarrassed, even when I'm alone... then I'll laugh at myself. I take pictures of sunrises and sunsets. I think in past lives I was a deer and a blade of grass. If you know me at all you know I have the ability to do "nothing" for hours at a time. I'm a deep thinker, an optimist, the epitome of a dreamer, and my mind is my playground. As long as I have time to play, I stay pretty balanced. Speaking of playgrounds, I am always content if I'm on a swing, and my parents still leave my childhood swing up in the backyard just for me. I don't like sushi, coffee, tomatoes, olives, or horror movies. The things I miss the most are my hammock, my chocolate milkshakes from Big Nick's, and my friends and family who aren't near me. I'm an avid user of post-it notes. I think twilight is magical. There's a bench in Central Park that holds all my secrets. I collect quotes in my head, and rocks in a dish on my coffee table. I have loved and lost. I have loved and gained. I know from experience that you will be continually faced with a lesson until it is learned. I believe in destiny, but not that "everything happens for a reason." It's to much work to create reasons for every happening. Things happen... whether they are what we wanted, what we expected, or whether they're even within our control. What we have is the opportunity to learn from, and appreciate every experience, and make the choice of how we will handle it, and what our next move will be... thus our lives unfold. I'm brilliant at wrapping presents, and find joy in watching them ripped open. My first words were "Moon" and "Sky" and according to witnesses I just stood pressed against a window looking up saying "moon sky, moon sky" over and over again... some things never change. Dissonance makes me uncomfortable, and I'll do whatever it takes to create harmony around me. I'm not quick to trust, and when I've been hurt I retreat away, but those who earn it have my infinite loyalty. I'm fascinated by astrology, but try to avoid reading horoscopes. I have an uncanny memory, and my greatest fear is to lose it one day and all it holds. I buy myself flowers because I think I deserve them. I buy others flowers because I think they do too. I believe in the goodness of people, and that we all have a responsibility toward humanity. I love dogs. Nothing washes away a bad day like when my wiener dog Sprocket wiggles with excitement when I get home. Serendipitous moments make me smile, and help me believe in the greater workings of the universe. More than anything, I am grateful... for every passing moment of my life.
Your Life Path Number is 8
Your purpose in life is to help others succeed
You are both a natural leader and a natural success. You are also a great judge of character.

A great visionary, you can see gold where other people see nothing.
In love, you are very generous - with gifts, time, and guidance.
You love to inspire people, but it can be frustrating when they don't understand your vision.
Great success comes easily for you. But so does great failure, as you are very reckless.

My Interests

I'll do just about anything if I'm doing it with people I adore. I love spending time with my friends and family. I love walking my dog and being outside. My idea of 'going out' involves live music (and usually a flight to NYC). I like going to the movies in the middle of the afternoon. I've been called a writer by some, and I enjoy it, but my desire to write comes and goes. I like to cook, especially if I'm cooking for more than just myself. I love art, architecture, and design. My best friend teases me about being the next Martha Stewart... I'm very creative and crafty. If I wasn't a dancer, I think I'd be a professional organizer... does that make me boring? I love traveling, seeing new places, meeting new people, and being presented with new ideas.

I'd like to meet:

People who enjoy life the way I do... who are open minded, on a journey, and willing to tell some stories along the way. You know, pink jellybean kind of people! People who can show me something I didn't see before, make me feel something I didn't feel before, and teach me something I didn't know before. People who are positive, and can appreciate the beauty of laughing together, crying together, and sitting in silence together. People like that... like the friends in my life... inspire me. Oh, I also look forward to meeting my children, in time.
